Abstract
The purpose of this research is to evaluate health status of persons with disabilities by job status via WHODAS 2.0 and to understand the factors affecting work activities. To do this, we collected data from 439 disabled people including non-registered and carried out data analysis by job status and reclassified disability group types. The reclassification of disability type followed middle classification level of Welfare for the Disabled Act. The results are as followings; first, persons with disabilities with occupation showed healthier status than without occupation. In people with occupations, the order of health status was internal-external and mental disability, although, people without occupation showed different order. The order of general health status was internal-mental-external disability and that of domains were different from each other. Next, the factors affected ¡®work activities¡¯ among persons with disabilities were "mobility" and ¡®participation¡¯. These two factors affected the dependent variable positively. Based on this, we suggested that specify the health support system according to job status and disability type, and expand the utilization of WHODAS 2.0.
